| Course / Class | Program to which student is admitted. This can be like Standard 1, Grade 1, B.Comm, MBA, Diploma in Bookkeeping, etc. |
| Batch | The batch is generally referred to as a class i.e. Grade 1 (course) Class of 2018 (batch) or even Grade 1 2018 A and Grade 1 2018 B. It is used to differentiate years as well as number of classes in a year. |
| Grade | This can be confused with Course i.e. Grade 2. Grade in the Prosum EMS refers to performance grading. There's the grading system and the actual grades like A for mark of 80% or more. |
| Exams / Examination | These are assessments carried out by the teachers/lecturers to evaluate the academic/co-curricular performance of the students. It can include projects, class tests, assignments or term exams or year end exams. |
